I like the surface texture, it is different from my other down jacket with the shinning shell. I think I feel a little tight in the chest, have been doing weights for about two years.

After I washed it, (and I did follow the laundering instructions), most of the fill shifted from the shoulders down the sleeves and body. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but I'm disappointed in the design as I figured this wouldn't have happened.

Cozy and warm
I didn't buy this item for high exertion or winter backpacking (too warm and heavy, not very packable) - it's for day hikes on cold days (it's perfect @ -7°C to about -15°C and long forest walks with my high energy GSP. For these activities I'm loving the hoody. The fabric is soft and provides much better wind resistance than a regular down puffy. It would be even more awsome and useful for a wider range of activities with a higher down weight (800-850).
