Stretch Zion^™ Cargo Pants

I purchased Stretch Zion™ Pants - Thinking they were the slim version. Apparently the version I purchased 3 times are not offered anymore sadly. *The slim version is the best ever hiking/walking pair with thing pocket etc. I understand a good fit. Before I became a design general building contractor of custom homes, I owned an auto upholstery shop until I was in my mid twenties. Hope PrAna brings them back!!

These pants used to be absolutely awesome, but like pretty much everyone in the world, they changed the material to something cheaper and the durability of them absolutely crashed. The polyester strands quickly show (the white/translucent stringy stuff), they snag realllly easy and the new material (changed a couple years ago or so) is shiny and just looks like garbage. I still have my original of these pants with material that used to be used and they are in far better shape than the new ones. Will not buy again, don't recommend them to anyone anymore. Prana has changed overall for the worse.

I've been wearing stretch zion for a decade at least, and the slim fit were too tight so I was excited for these - a pant that fits better for everyday wear, rather than looking like you're about to hike a mountain. I've been a 32 inseam for forever, for any manufacturer. However, these are too short. The issue seems to be that traditional stretch zions are a bit shorter because they're boot cut - lots of outdoor and workwear brands do this, and it makes sense. I can see why they wouldn't want to change the sizing just for this style, but these don't fit over boots, and they come up too high for regular shoes, so it's kind of a weird dead zone. Anyway, I'll bet a 33 inseam would be great, but the 32 was what I ordered and they're out of stock on 33s now. Looking at the picture I don't see how the model gets them to wear like that.
