Reversible Faux Leather Tote & Wristlet

When I first unwrapped the tote, I was ready to give it a 5 star review, but after 1 week of use it is already damaged. It got a small scratch and the color flaked off all around it leaving an inchlong area where white shows through. The color, size, and workmanship on this bag are great, but the quality of the material can not stand up to daily use. I am not particularly hard on my bags and it is very disappointing for one to be ruined with less than a week of use. I would not recommend this tote for more than light use. If you are looking for an everyday bag, I'm thinking it will be best to invest in real leather.

I was really excited to get this bag after reading all the good reviews. It came yesterday, and while I like the shape and the color a lot, I can't help but notice that it's really cheaply made. It arrived a bit wrinkly, but I was able to get it smoothed out using a hair dryer. The problems are in the little details. The straps are pretty flimsy, and don't seem to be sewn on very well. I feel like if I were to pull too hard on one, it might rip, which makes me nervous to put anything heavy (like a laptop) inside. Additionally, there are some blackish spots on the cognac side, almost like dirt or paint splatter. Fortunately, they aren't in a super noticeable place. There are also some sort of silver markings around where the straps are attached. Again, these are all minor details that won't prevent me from using the purse. I just expected a little more for the price (I know as far as purses go, this is pretty inexpensive, but it feels more like a $20 bag to me). One last comment, I didn't plan on using it anyway, but the black side is much shinier than the brown, which makes it look a lot cheaper.

I use this bag on my commute every day- I throw in my heels, my lunch, and frankly whatever else I want because it's awesome! It's big enough for really anything without being unseemly and I love the reversible feature... not that I'm always pausing to think about what "goes" with my outfit...but when I do, I love having options. Also, this bag is pretty durable. My very first day with this purse, I realized that my lunch had leaked all over the bottom. I was so sad, but then it wiped up and nothing stained AT ALL! Amazing. It does smell a little funny for the first few uses, but the smell has gone away.
