GREAT Quality Better than JCREW

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag!! I have shopped at Nordstroms for almost 15 yrs and this might be one of my FAVORITE purchases. I have owned it for almost a year and still no durability issues. I get at least one compliment on it probably every time I use it (which is nearly everyday). Its a GREAT work bag, can fit laptop makeup bag etc… I bring it everywhere because it looks great with everything, it is easy to carry and very light weight. I actually bought a similar version from Madewell for $298.00 and returned it because this bag actually looks nearly identical, but is actually much more comfortable to carry and can fit more. The material is very soft and not too stiff. The straps and literally the perfect length and fit comfortable on your arm without constantly falling off (aka like my Longchamp bags). The length of the straps also let the bag hang low enough that when the bag is really full it still fit comfortably on your arm. I have had this bag for a year and there is hardly any signs of wear, it is extremely durable. Buying two more because I can't imagine life without it :)

Great at first, but fell apart quickly

I loved this tote when I first got it. The size is perfect, the pocket in front is great, and the faux leather seemed good. But after 5 months of moderate use, I'm about to toss it because it has completely fallen apart. The edges of the leather on the body and straps are ratty and look terrible. The stitching is unraveling in multiple places. The webbing on the straps is exposed and the glue is visibly peeling. Very disappointed. I knew it wasn't leather and thus had a shorter lifespan, but 5 months is just unacceptable

LOVE!

I originally wanted the Madewell tote in all black but they only had the two toned style- so I opted for this! I really love the front pocket.. it fits my iPhone 6s perfectly (because who can fit that anywhere else)! Love how big it is. Perfect for work.

Perfection.

I needed a purse to carry my MacBook Pro and other random purse items to and from work on a daily basis. I've had this for a couple weeks now and it's holding up well. It's a great size, lightweight and looks great. I've gotten many compliments. Highly recommend.

LOVELOVE THIS BAG

Beautiful, handy front pocket. This bag holds a lot, yet still feels light. Very hard to believe that this is faux leather because it is so rich and smooth to the touch. The fact that it is under $50 is the icing on the cake. I purchased it in dark green as well.

Bag is fine, but don't put anything light in it.

The bag is fine, lack of pockets but that was understood when ordering. What wasn't understood was that you can't put ANYTHING in the bag that is lighter than it. So if you have a light colored iPad or laptop case, remove it. If you have a book that you've borrowed or rented, don't put it in this bag. If your wallet is light in color, prepare for it to be stained. There are cheaper bags out there that don't do this. Would not re-purchase.
