Mosaic Leather Tote

I am a bag fanatic, and I have a bunch of designer ones — Gucci, Givenchy, YSL, Loewe. I’m annoyed by how much prices have gone up, and I’m also not into a ton of logos. This beautiful bag fits a lot — wallet, phone, iPad, keys, cosmetic pouch. It feels much lighter than the Mulberry Bayswater, which I also had my eye on. This bag is elegant, well made, and isn’t too huge or too small. Perfect!

The bag is beautiful. I went on Strathberry to see what else they had and noticed this bag was $795. I bought it from Nordstrom because I needed it quickly and couldn’t wait for shipping and I get it’s a luxury item and pick-up next day was incredibly convenient. But not $100 convenient.

I sent the handbag back 4 times because it was used, the fourth time I received it the store sensor was on it and customer service was not able to remove it. I really really wanted this handbag but it did not work out. Very disappointed in the way Nordstrom handle sending out this designer handbag.

So I bought this bag and was super excited about it. Well, once I received it, I was immensely disappointed. While I will say, the leather itself is gorgeous, the rest of it all fell flat. First, the bag is $850, it can thrown in a cheap plastic bag, no dust cover, the magnet that closes the bag barely works, and to top it all of, it had a big dent/ scratch in the middle of the bag on the back. I repeat this is an $850 bag!! The quality control at Nordstroms needs to improve. In now way is this ok to send to a consumer.

I’ve been eying Strathberry for a few months and finally made my purchase. It’s beautiful and the quality is top notch. I’ll be buying more for sure. I’m so glad Nordstrom had them in the store!
