Strandmok Medallion Toe Weatherproof Oxford (Men)

I bought these for fall and winter wear and am very pleased so far. The leather is a different texture and the shoes overall seem to have a slightly heavier construction. These will be great for wet and snowy weather and will most likely not be destroyed by the salt they put on the roads, even though I got the tan grain color. The rubber soles seem like they will have good, but not perfect, traction in the snow. The soles also seem pretty durable. The only drawbacks are color matching (not quite sure what color polish to get) and the fact that the leather was slightly wrinkled in a couple spots. Overall, these are good shoes for bad weather. They are casual, but not too casual and you can wear these with confidence as part of a business casual outfit.

I have had these shoes for about 2 months and so far, they are very nice shoes. The break-in period is going better with these than the other A.E. shoes I purchased around the same time. These shoes have the Dainite Rubber soles so that might be part of the reason. They are getting more comfortable with each wearing. I have not worn them in winter yet so. I can't provide any information on the "weather proof". But so far, I am very happy with the purchase.
