weak waistband.
First. They do run large. I’m generally a size 8/10 in pants. And the M’s definitely fit like a large so I sized down.
Second. These linen pants look great for styling: clean, lightweight, great lines, drapes well. But(!) the waistband is terrible - no tension. Attempting to use the pockets could pull your pants down - no joke. I don’t know how that even passed muster.
If you don’t use the pockets you might be okay. But it’s disconcerting to have such a weak waistband holding your pants up regardless. I’ve bought many many (many straight leg linen pants) and the look of these are definitely a winner esp for the price. I like the upscale casual look of these so much that I’ll probably take them in to the seamstress to see what can be done without affecting the drape.
