Straight Leg Corduroy Pants

These are very good quality pants, the cordury is thick but soft, the color is a nice dark tan (not too brown). They were a bit tight for me in my thighs, so I am returning them, although it was close to a keeper. I ususally wear a 4 or 6 in pants, but the size 4 waist was fine, and I felt going to a 6 would make the waist too big. The waist is as described, mid-rise, which makes them more stylish than a higher waisted cord IMO.

These cords are perfect. They are flattering and you will cut a sleek profile in them this fall with a pair of boots and a chunky sweater or with a tucked in blouse and blazer. For reference, I am 5' 6" tall, 132 pounds and purchased an 8. I am kind of in-between sizes and sometimes need a 10 but an 8 worked well - a 10 would have been too big. The 8 is a perfect fit. I like that the legs are slim but not tight (they aren't leggings!) and the elongating effect that this has, along with the mid-rise, is flattering. Years ago, I was a big fan of Ralph Lauren, but it seems like they have lost their way lately. This is the first purchase of this brand in probably 10 years or more. I took a chance and am glad I did. They will surely be a staple of this autumn's wardrobe.

The quality of these corduroy pants are excellent and they fit well. They have some stretch to them and they are soft. They fit true-to-size. I’m usually a Size 2 being 5’5”, 111 lbs, 26” waist, 36” hips. The Size 2 fit perfectly. I bought the medium brown pants as they will go with a lot of things. The only negative is that the pants length are really long! Even with 3” heels on I would need to get these hemmed. So that is the one downside is that I’ll have to pay to get these pants hemmed.
