Newborn Game Changer!
I am a mother of three under 5 years of age. I received one of these chairs for my baby shower for my first born. We have loved using this chair over the last 5 years, but this newborn seat is a game changer.
I received this newborn set as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I feel so lucky to have it! In the past, I would have to place my little baby on the floor or in a bouncer or swing far away from me when cooking or during dinner, but now my little girl, who is 5 weeks old, can be right at the table with us. I love that she is at the same level as the table. I can sooth her easily and my two little boys love being able to see her and talk to her during dinner.
The chair looks cozy and comfortable and the straps are easy to use. It is easy to slide onto the top of the chair and it clicks in so you know it is secure. I like having the two different levels to choose from. My baby girl really likes laying in this. My husband loves having it by him in the kitchen while doing dishes. With two little boys running around, this newborn set solves a lot of issues!
I didn't have the set the first two times around and I am so enjoying it now. If you are planning on getting the high chair, get the newborn set too. It is really worth it. It comes ready to use and you can put your baby in it from day one. The Tripp Trapp chair really is from birth to adulthood. I love it!

RECALL REGARDING TRIP TRAP NEWBORN SET
1. How come this is being recalled in Denmark and NOT a single word of warning on the US site? 2. How come the plastic attachments (slide-ons for giving stability) to attach on legs are different in Europe and US? In Europe only 2 legs have them and in US all 4 legs. One would think that it should be the same. Just weird, not to say uncomfortable and scary.

I'm a fan!
I'm going to be real here, this high chair AND it's newborn attachment are amazing. I have three children. A 4 year old, a two year old and a 6 week old. I can use this with every one of them with minimal adjustments. The newborn seat is so easy to take off and put back on. I'm talking seconds!! I've never had such an easy, mom friendly highchair. I love that my son (6 weeks) can be with us at the table. I also love how much my girls like the chair! They are always asking to use it so the convenience of the newborn attachment removal is the BEST! It's very appealing to the eye, too. Simple yet chic. I have the Tripp Trapp in Storm Grey and the attachment in Grey and I'm really happy with that combo.

All new parents/grandparents NEED one of these.
So beautiful, SAFE and USEFUL! We purchased this for our granddaughter and we just love it. Not only is it beautiful (modern home) and not obtrusive (easy to store when not in use) but it is so useful. We can put her in it when we are cooking dinner and she can feel like she is part of the action without being too close to get hurt by hot liquids. If I have to work while she is awake I can put her in this and sit her right by my desk and talk to her and it is so easy to comfort her and play with her and let her feel like she is part of the action. And if she falls asleep in it she loves it and I don't have to move her to the crib. As with all Stokke products we have purchased it is very safe and high quality. Scandinavians know how to design and manufacture the perfect product that can not only be used now but through the rest of her life.

I’m so sorry I didn’t have this set for my first child. I found the Tripp Trapp chair late after buying a different high chair and realizing how hard it was to clean. The Tripp trapp chair is a great product itself. The newborn set for my second has been one of my best purchases. I love that our 2nd baby can be at the dinner table with us or in the kitchen with me. Saves that one parent from feeding apart from us in another room. She seems very secure and is comfortable in it.

So simple and yet so perfect
The Stellar Product Testing Panel provided us with this Highchair and newborn set. We love both so much! We had a previous Highchair for our middle child that reclined and had tried using it with the newborn but she hated it. This newborn set is fantastic! It is so soft and cushiony, that she’s happy as can be in there. She’s high up so she can look around and sit right at the table with us, but she’s reclined so it’s safe and comfortable for her. She’s only two months and breastfed so, blow outs are common. We’ve already had to take the set apart and wash it. The cover is machine washable and it dried super quick on a line. It came out perfectly clean and was so easy to both take apart and put back together. The straps come off too (had to wash one of those also but I washed by hand.) It clips to the Highchair safely with a built in clip so you don’t even need tools to attach it. It can also be reclined back or sat up some with a button on the bottom, and even has a little clip for a toy. We can’t love it enough, she sits with us as dinner and looks around at her crazy brothers and let’s mommy and daddy eat, hot food, with two hands free!

Great seat to keep baby close while eating
We’ve been using the Stokke Newborn Set and it has honestly been one of our favorite baby items.
Our baby likes staying in it. He seems comfortable and I like that he can be at table height with us during meals. It makes such a difference being able to keep him close instead while I'm eating.
