What it is: A double-duty liquid lip stain that lines lips with precision while providing a full sweep of soft, buildable color.
What it does: Calligraphy Lip Stain softly coats lips in sheer, buildable, pout-perfect pops of color. The non-drying, moisturizing, transfer-proof formula stays through the day while subtly fading to a natural wash of color. The unique calligraphy-style tip precisely lines the lips while providing even color distribution. The revolutionary, two-way, easy-to-control, blade-like tip can be used "on point" for definition or "on edge" for full coverage.
How to use: Exfoliate lips prior to use. Using both pressure and application angle, apply on point to line, contour and define your lips, or on edge for a full wash of lightweight coverage and even color distribution. Store tip side down or horizontally for best performance.

Founded in 1994 by makeup artist Jeanine Lobell, Stila makes runway-ready looks more accessible for every day. Committed to its goal of inspiring women to express their authenticity through makeup, Stila offers blendable hues, moisture-rich textures and easy-to-use applicators to help women achieve a makeup-artist finish at home.
Perfect as a liner and then acts as a base for lip color fill in. The stain lasts is easy to apply and remove. The colors are nice and clear. Can use under lipsticks or alone. I like the precision in applying it, but for some, it may require a bit of practice first. Can even finish with a gloss or lip balm if you want more moisture. Does not leave lipsdry or chapped. I store mine in upright position.

Terrible product.
It doesn’t have staying power and color doesn’t have true pigment. I regret buying 2 of these

color fine but very dry and applies uneven
Bought and returned. Staying power is good. Doesnt rub off but your lips end up looking cracked and dehydrated. Terribly drying. Color tone is good but I dont recommend.

Intense color, not buildable
This is marketed as buildable color, but it's not. It starts out intense and stays that way.

Product LEAKED!
This item was shipped via USPS, and it endured scorching 114-degree Arizona heat in my mailbox for hours! When I opened it, liquid was all over the top of the lip stain- and it even stained my jeans! It seems unlikely I'll ever be able to fully get the stain out. Disappointingly, Nordstrom's customer service response was simply to offer a return... :( I would NOT recommend buying this item online and having it shipped!
