Only for casual wear.
These jeans are made of a thick, rather stiff denim and aren't at all dressy. They don't seem to have softened much thru use. Good work jeans. I like the straight legs. I follow the manufacturer's directions and line dry them because I think they would shrink if you put them in the dryer. Then when they're dry, I put them in the dryer for 20 min on air only to soften them, and that's a hassle.
