Riggs Knee High Boot (Women)

This is one of the few boots that isn’t too tall for my legs, and isn’t too wide either. Though it does sometimes tap the back of my thigh when going up/down stairs, it’s otherwise a good fit. That being said every other review about the calf being small is right. It’s quite skinny and there’s no zipper so it can kind of be difficult to take on and off.

I wear a 5 with nearly a 13 inch calf (yes I measured), I had to order a 5.5 bc that is the smallest size offered, usually with boots that works. Fit wise around the foot it did, however these boots fit so snug around my calf and because of that bend weird. I wanted something slightly looser, like the picture. Being leather I’m sure they will loosen and wear in but I def disappointed in the calf fit. Calf is actually 13” wide not the 14 1/2 on the description

I’m so glad I decided to get these boots. I like them so much more than the Frye Campus boot. I have both and I find myself wearing these all the time. One reason is they are more streamlined than the campus and more dainty for a petite person. I wear a 61/2-7 and I got the 61/2 and they fit perfect. I love that they have a small calf because I have thin calves and I don’t look swallowed up by these boots. I definitely recommend
