Sizing is great, the heel height is so comfortable with the platform. They seem really good quality. The only negative is that where the foot part meets the leg section on the outside of the heel, the shoe cuts in narrow to my heel. I am going to try to bend it out or overstuff it so it doesn't jut into my ankle bone anymore.

I agree with the previous review. These boots are versatile and have a great retro look that go with different styles of pants, dresses, etc. I found them to be true to size. The platform is perfect. They don’t feel heavy and are easy to walk in. My feet did hurt after walking in them all day, which might be remedied with an insole. The main criticism I have though is that the left shoe (just 1!) rubs painfully on my ankle bone. To counteract this, I’ve worn these with thick crew socks that I bunch at the ankle. I guess if you want to get an insole and wear thicker socks, you might want to size up half a size. Try in store first if possible to see if this happens to you. Otherwise, I absolutely love the look of these and will probably wear them all fall and winter.

I have thrown out all of my other black, short booties after purchasing these. They are super comfortable, the platform gives you some height without straining the arch and the block heel makes them perfect to wear all night long. the photographs online tend to not show it, but it is a square-toe shape giving them a sort of mod look to it, which i love. it falls right between that retro and y2k trend that's going on right now. you can dress them up or down, and i cannot stress this enough: THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE!! i'm buying a backup pair.
