Bigmona Raffia Platform Sandal

I really wanted to love these but as soon as I put them on, I knew they were going to hurt my feet. Walked on my treadmill to test them out but half a mile in I had to take them off due to the strap digging into the top of my foot. I was left with blisters and small skin abrasions.

Just received this cute raffia colored sandal for spring and it runs 1/2 size small. I will return and order the next size.

I purchased my first pair of Big Mona (Raffia) a couple months back and was super excited about them. They were so cute and exactly what I was looking for. Definitely received so many compliments. They are true to size and a little uncomfortable (somewhat heavy), but after a few wears they start to feel better. Unfortunately, after only a few months of having them, the heel strap came loose due to some type of manufacturing issue, so I had to return, but did purchase another pair.

I think it would be a comfortable shoe, but I couldn't get past the look of it. In my opinion there is nothing cute about this klunky shoe, and I just couldn't keep it. I am a 7 1/2 Wide. I purchased 8 1/2 Medium to make up for the lack of width. I would have to widen the band, and I don't want velcro showing. Overall it's a no for me.

I am a narrow size 5. Size 5.5 were still snug, but the width wasn't a problem (loosen up the strap). After an hour of wear, I have developed an open wound on my arch because the inside of the shoe (side loop part that holds the strap) rubbed into my foot very badly. Also, the raffia began to frei after the first wear. I really looked forward to keeping them! The page won't load photos, for some reason.

I was unsure if I should buy these shoes because I was scared that they were going to be uncomfortable but they turned out to be the most comfortable shoes that I own.
