these shoes are STUNNING in person - however you must have really thin lower calves / ankles to zip them up.

Beautiful bootie
Fabulous bootie but really snug around my ankles and I do have small, size 7 shoe for reference. The chunky heel I love. I was really disappointed, I was really looking forward to wear these with so many outfits.

Very disappointed!
I agree with the other reviews, too narrow at the ankles. They look cheap. looks better in the picture . Honestly when I open the box I didn't even want to try them, I'm going to return them.

My favorite boots!
Comfort without sacrificing the height! Honestly, I usually wear these shoes for an EXTENDED period of time (8hrs+!). One of my comfiest shoes even compared to some of the flats I own. If you do get these shoes and have never walked in platforms before, I suggest practicing. It is def precarious when walking down the stairs (since it’s a thick shoe!) but practice makes perfect. Love these shoes, so worth the money!!!

Glad I splurged
TTS, I wear a 38.5 in closed toe shoes/boots. The 38.5 fit perfectly. I hesitated to buy these even though I saw a podcaster rave about them:I thought $895 was very steep for faux leather. They look very well made. Time will tell if the materials hold up but they are lovely. Not sure about walking around all day comfort but are out of the box just fine, including the calf circumference.
