Mini Moon Leather Bag

I had been seeing the original moon bag pop up on ads for months and held off because the size seemed a bit too unwieldy for my petite frame (5’2”, 115 lb). I immediately fell for this mini bag because of the versatility with the cross body strap. It has a divine leather quality, super structured and arrived in perfect condition with a dust bag. This shape is easily comparable to the Prada Arque at a much nicer price point. The mini size actually holds surprisingly a lot- iPhone 15, small film camera, sunglasses and a few lip products, and has an inner zip pocket that can hold cards/cash. The strap shortens to a perfect length for cross body or shoulder wear. The main top handle is best held in hand or on the forearm - I can fit on my shoulder in pinch but just a bit too bulky to be comfortable. The style has an obvious downside of an open top if you frequent places that you worry about bag security or small items falling out, but I found the magnetic closure is very secure so unless someone is very sneaky or has child sized hands I doubt they would be able to get anything out of the bag without detection! Also a small pouch easily fits inside and can obviate any worries about lost items or pickpockets. I can’t speak much about the durability of the leather yet but does not seem to show any scratches with light use thus far. Highly recommend!

Staud does not stand by their products purchased places other than their website, I received this for christmas, used for the first time outside the return period and discovered when taking tissue paper off that the top piece snap is broken. Staud won’t help in any way. This was such a splurge for me and I am crushed. There are so many reliable companies out there- choose a different purse company.
