Runs slightly small
I have another pair of Staud sandals (The Marco sandal) that are 38EU and they fit me perfectly. I'm usually a 7.5, sometimes 8. These sandals in a 38 run a hair short, maybe half a size. When I say hair, I mean I might still keep it because I like how snug (without being tight) the shoe is around the rest of my foot, which keeps my foot from slipping and sliding all over the place. It hugs it perfectly. It would be nice for comparison to order the 39EU but I don't feel like going through the hassle of ordering another pair and dealing with a return. I would say order a size up if your in between sizes for safe measure.

Comfortable elegant sandals
Gorgeous simple sandals but the ruching makes them so edgy and stylish! I bought these in khaki and they go with lots of my summer dresses as well as distressed denim and shorts. I wear a size 10 US and the 41 fit perfectly. Highly highly recommend! Great quality and very chic as expected of Staud. Considering buying in more colors!

falling apart after 4 wears
Bought these two months ago and I’ve worn them 4 times. The leather is already peeling on the back and looks awful. The quality is terrible. I’d return them if I could.
