Cargo Colorblock Cardigan

I own the dress version of this cardigan and I love it! I had high hopes for the cardigan. The cardigan fit TTS and was the same weight as the dress, but I didn't find it that flattering once it was on. The cardigan kind of stuck to me and created these rolls in the fabric even though I was wearing the correct size (medium) and not trying to squeeze into something smaller. I wanted the cardigan to skim my body like the dress. I think with the dress, the weight of the fabric on the lower part of the dress prevents the rolls or pulls these rolls out. I returned this item.

Firstly, I’d like to say that I’ve been wearing this staple Staud cardigan for years now, as there are many different color and block patterns that are introduced each season. This easy to wear, but flattering in all the right places cardigan, can be worn casually as an extra layer or dressed up over your favorite little black dress. The trick is in knowing how to size this sweater. Some like this style close to the body, while it can also be super cute in a larger size than you would normally wear. I’ve styled this sweater both ways over the years. The material is very easily worn and flattering when fitted either snuggly or casually loose. My advice would be to try a bigger size than your normal if you prefer a casual style. You’ll see how cute and versatile it is. It’s also easily washable and hang to dry. I have a few of the longer style that can also be worn as a sweater dress or open and casual. And they wear as new forever! I Love them! I think you will too.

I loved the photo on the website. It is very small, and I was disappointed it did not fit. I always wear a small but this was like and extra extra small! I think in order to wear this sweater you would have to be very skinny. The color combination was was drew me to it. Also, I did not like the feel of the viscose fabric.
