Disappointed
Very hard to clean/near impossible to get it all the way clean. Also, the bottom came with marks on it, but more permanent marks appeared with one time use. The handle is also not sturdy enough for the weight of the pan and will most likely snap if you lift it that way. Disappointed, as I love the other products.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Staub Cast Iron 12-inch Square Grill Pan. We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating these issues must be.
Cast iron can be more challenging to clean, especially with grill pans. To make it easier, we recommend soaking the pan briefly in warm water and using a soft brush to remove residue without damaging the surface. Regarding the marks and concerns about the handle, we’d like to assure you that our products are designed to endure regular use, but we’d be happy to review this further for you.
Please feel free to reach out to our Consumer Relations Team for assistance. We appreciate your support of Staub and hope we can restore your confidence in our products.

Heavy but good quality
I can tell this is good quality. It’s a lot heavier than I was expecting but I do love how there are ridges and it seems good quality as I’ve compared with other cast iron pans and they all have that strong iron smell which I don’t like. I believe that cooking bacon or steak with this would be nice because it has ridges to drain the oils

Best grill pan I’ve used
This pan is wonderful. I had been looking at one for years. I finally found one and I love the way it cooks and how easy it is to maintain and clean up!

Great grill pan.
Excellent size with deep ribbing so that items don’t burn. Cleans up nicely with BarKeeper’ Friendd.

What a Great Grilling Pan
This is an excellent grilling pan and is my goto cooking method when I can't grill outside on my Big Green Egg. It's very heavy to handle with one hand even for a larger man like me. I do wish the grill lines were rotated 90 degrees from where they are in relation to the handle because it's difficult to scoop juices and melted butter on to meat as it cooks. I would also like to see a glass lid as an option
Clean-up was relatively simple considering it is cast iron.
