Round Pop-On Reusable Manicure Set

If you are on the fence, just DO it! These nails lasted me 10 days of HEAVY use. I’m talking on vacation, snorkeling, swimming daily, a PROPOSAL!, and everything in between. They seriously did not budge until I took them off. And they somehow just pop off so easily when your ready. I am so impressed and will be buying allll the colors! I love the short round, they are the perfect size, length, and shape for a natural look!

I have had paper-thin nails that peel and tear easily my entire life. So I've spent a fortune over the years getting gel nails about every two weeks done at the nail salon. COVID change that the moment "pandemic," "shut-down," and "face mask" became a part of our everyday vocabulary. After a year of living with horrible-looking hands, I heard about Static "pop-on" nails. My first thought was, "Yeah, I'm not falling for that." So I searched the Internet for reviews. Everything was positive! So, about 12 days ago I decided to give them a try. Wow! They are GREAT! They are thin so they look completely natural. I'm still wearing the first set I put on after 12 days and feel confident they will stay on and look good for another week. I've already purchased a couple more sets in different colors to test when I take these off. I have not tried removing these yet, but every review I've read says that soaking you fingers in hot (not scalding!) water will make the special glue they use dissolve. I'm hoping that part is true! I got the short nails but they were too long for typing. I filed mine down to just over the tips of my fingers and they look great. Plus, they are inexpensive and reusable -- about 1/4 of what I was paying for gel nails at the salon. But, here are a few tips: The tube of glue that comes with the nail pack is not easy to use and messy. I recommend you buy the Static Nails brush on glue. They should include that with the package instead of the small tube. It will be easier to apply to the nails without getting all over your fingers. The small file that comes in the box is too small. Buy a standard size fine-grain nail file. Wear rubber gloves when putting your hands in dishwater, etc. So, there is a completely honest review from someone who loves to have pretty nails. Nature wouldn't give them to me but Static Nails did!

I will start off by saying that I love static nails. I have been using them since the pandemic because I can’t go to nail salons. This is the first time I have purchased them from Nordstrom. I typically buy them direct. I still love the nails however this review is more related to the actual color that I received. I purchased “venomous” expecting a bright red color appropriate for Valentine’s Day, as was indicated in the pictures. I received a very dark red that almost looks iridescent. I’m going to save them for next Christmas because I think that’s the only time the color is really appropriate. It’s very festive but not at all with a description or pictures portrayed. I will continue to use Static nails as they are the best “press on” option I have found. I will just have to pay more attention to the color from now on.

These press on nails are the BEST. They look like salon gel/acrylics. This round shape is the perfect length, not too stubby nor too long where it’s annoying to type. These photos are from a month or so of having them glued on (they’re actually pretty grown out)! They stay on so well and if one pops off I just re-glue it. I purchased the Static Brush On Glue and it works better than any other nail glue. Not worth purchasing the cheap nails with weak glue. If anything, use the Static glue for other press on nails. Be sure not to put too much glue, if it seeps out it gets everywhere and is hard to get off of your skin. I put a thin layer of glue on the back of the nail and a thin layer of glue on my own nail then press down. The color in this photo is U Make Me Blush and it’s the perfect rose pink. The set comes with multiple sizes but I still needed to file down a few of the nails on the sides since it was digging into my skin a little.

Lovely press on nails. I was dubious about the reusability, as I've never had press on nails come off cleanly, but these are sturdy and actually came off nicely. They applied easily, and stayed on through dishes and kitchen cleaning :3 i did apply in the evening and didn't get them wet until the next morning initially. Would like a slightly wider color range.
