Disappointing Durability – Coating Chipped After Two Washes
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really wanted to love this set. Out of the box, the Fable Matte Black Flatware looks stunning—it has a great weight, a beautiful modern silhouette, and that deep matte finish I was looking for. Unfortunately, the aesthetic appeal is completely undermined by the poor quality of the finish.Despite being advertised as dishwasher safe, this set began to chip and peel after only two cycles. For a premium-priced product, I expected a durable PVD coating that could handle standard cleaning. Instead, the black finish started flaking off at the edges of the spoons and the tines of the forks, revealing the stainless steel underneath.

Perfect

Great heft

Excellent Flatware
