Solid, could be better
I'm a huge Tech Pack fan. 10+ tops and bottoms. These are solid, but a few things to note:
1. For people who want their socks/ankles to show - I'm 5 9" and got them in M. The picture is probably accurate because they basically reach down to my shoes, so no socks visible. Fine with me.
2. The zippers on the pockets are horrendous. I love zippered pockets, but these are placed so that you FEEL it every time you put your hands in/out. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, probably best to avoid these. Even if you don't, it's noticeable. I'm very mindful of it, it's almost like taking something hot out of the oven.
3. They don't have much stretch at all, so they are more restrictive compared to knit Tech Pack pants. I really notice if I bend, squat, get in/out of cars, etc.
The best feature to me is that they are loose and breathable, great for warmer days. Also like the cool belt buckle.
