Paige Button-Up Shirt

I so wanted this white shirt to be a staple in my wardrobe, but it was a failure and returned without a second thought. The description states it's cotton/rayon, or all cotton which in itself is confusing. What I got was cotton/VISCOSE. Not comfy at all. It's quite sheer. Not what I wanted or expected. I see a similar version "Chase" in great colors but am hesitant to order based on this experience.

I love everything about this top... My new fave for sure! So much so that I bought it in 3 colors, even though the price point is quite high. The front is a delicious, super comfy, lightweight cottony fabric, while the sleeves and the back are a lightweight cotton knit fabric. I've worn it tied at the waist like the model and just loose. It's definitely too long to tuck in, unless you only want to tuck in the front. It's an oversized look and fit, but also runs large, so I'd size down. I purchased both the x-small and small, both of which work fine, although the x_small is a better fit. To give you an idea, I'm 5'4", 125 - 130 pounds, size 4 or 27 on the bottom (size 2 in vanity sizes, Wit&Wisdom, etc) and a size 4 - 6 TOP in Lulu, small in Zella and Vuori, medium in Nic+Zoe and Treasure & Bond, and a 34DD. I got my regular size and it seems to be two sizes too big. I know it's supposed to be an oversized fit but the sleeves are 4 inches too long and the shoulder hang way too low. The fit is not slimming because of the trendy parachute back. I don't know if I should try again with a smaller size or give up on this online shopping. I appreciate the quality materials. I can see this working for some people, just not sure if it's for me. My 34DDD makes it look borderline pregnancy shirt. I would definitely need to add darts to the front.
