Sperry Shearwater Water-Resistant Boot

These boots got me through the winter. They're literally amazing. Warm, comfortable and stylish...what more do you need?

Very comfortable and waterproof. I wore these hiking and walking the town in Scotland, and it rained almost every day. Great purchase and the rubber sole made it very flexible for gripping when I walked across the creek on a fallen tree.

I bought these in my true size for winter walks with the dog in lieu of wearing heavy Sorels or clompy Hunters. They ran maybe 1/2 size big with what I'd consider a substantial sock, but weren't uncomfortable, and I still wear them sometimes for a quick run to the store without a sock at all. I actually ended up wearing them (with snow pants) to go sledding and while the tips of my toes were cold after an hour and a half, my feet were dry even with the zipper along the inside. The buckle is a little cumbersome and if you want a loser look, the loops at the top of the eyelets are kind of useless (the laces slip off), but I just tie the laces below the loops. Overall a great spend.

These were super cute and look exactly as pictured. The problem is that i ordered my normal size and they were huge - I returned them and ordered a half size down and am waiting to receive them, though I may need a full size down.

If you want to wear this for the cold I suggest wearing thick wool sock because the toe is pretty much just rubber with a thin lining.
