Order a full size down
I always wear an 8.5. I tried an 8.5 too large. I tried an 8, still too large. I tried a 7.5, perfect. I own nothing in a 7.5 and have been purchasing shoes for many, many years. I’m not sure what the sizing issue is here, but you can trust me when I say size a full size down. And, by the way, one full size down is not at all snug.
