Spark High Waist Pocket Bike Shorts

Grrr. Can't wear them. I have 3 pair that I pulled out to look at, got distracted doing a 10-20yr clothing purge and accidently scooped them up & washed them before I tried a pair on :( I guess I was looking for a leggings style, bermuda length short, with pockets, I could wear under dresses or tunics. They seem to be well made but I just really hadn't expected them to be this small overall & so tight. I don't tolerate compression anything anywhere... lol 60+yrs of NO SOCKS! Sizes for me are a somewhat random die roll after a 60lb weight drop but I have a lopsided hard round belly from liver problems and everything rolls right off the not squishy middle. I had to size down from 3X to 1X in the 9" Board Shorts so I figured the 2X in these was a good mid point... lol nope I had previously returned the 2X Swim Shorts that "SEEMED" to be in this style with a different waistband & only a single pocket (waistband rolled down in moments, wouldn't stay up & the single pocket felt very awkward), and those were snug but I was able to move in them. I had been hoping the waistband on these would stay up better but it actually rolls down into an even tighter narrower band. Oh well. I now have 3 pair of maybes for the 200lb mark & will see how they feel with another 20+lb off.
