Great pant to dress up or down

For the last few years I was disappointed with spanx sizing and product. They changed it and got so small but I am so happy with these pants. They are super comfortable. I love the slimming waistband. You can dress them up or down. I really should go see if they have them in other colors

I wanted to love them. I get that they are meant to have an over-sized barrel leg, which I love! After ordering and trying on, I stupidly washed them, hoping that would snug them up a bit. Nope. Should have exchanged for a small. If they had fit more like a 6-8 as the medium specifies, I would have rated them a 4.

Run big. thick fabric.

Like other SPANX pants, these are fitted at the true waist and create a curve over the hips. However, these run big. I can usually wear a petite-small/6 in any pants, but these were too roomy. They looked baggy and unflattering. Also, these fabric is very thick and gave a vibe of Dickies work trousers.
