Perfect Black Tights with Just Enough Control
LOVE LOVE LOVE Spanx's Luxe Leg Shaping Tights in black. I wear a lot of dresses and skirts in general, and I wear these Spanx tights in black under my dresses and skirts during the colder months. The tights are pretty opaque and give me a bit of control in my hips and thighs. Unlike black opaque tights from Spanx's competitor brands and even higher end brands like Wolford (I do love Wolford) and Fogal, these tights do not shrink, pill, or lose color even after a thorough machine wash on the gentle or perm press cycle. Also I don't think I've ever had a run in any of my tights and I've been wearing these for many years. I buy at least two every Anniversary Sale because it's such a great deal.

Very very small item
Wish I had heeded the warning of other reviews - the sizing on this is crazy off. Size chart would indicate I should be a C (5’4’’ 170lbs), but I went with a size D to be safe…still wayyy too small (can’t get them up past my knees). I’m not confident even the E would come close to fitting so unfortunately will be returning.

Going back
Spanx used to make high quality opaque tights, but not anymore. These were almost sheer in some areas and were not the quality I would expect for $30.

Really comfortable and supportive tights.
Really comfortable and supportive tights. The control top really sucks you in but doesn't leave you feeling constricted. Looks great with my work and non-work wardrobes. True to size - I am 5'5, 130 lbs and the size B fits perfectly.

Sizing chart is way off
I have purchased Spanx opaque tights in the past, but in the last few years, the sizing chart is TOTALLY off.
According to the chart, I should wear a Size C. I cannot get into Size E. The top part (panty) is about 6 inches wide
for a 12 inch waist. How much can this be stretched????????????
