SPANXshape^™ Invisible Cotton Blend Shorts

I needed a new shapewear short for a trip to Florida. I loved this when I tried it on in the store. Was shocked that I was in a small, but the colors in store were very limited. I ordered the light pink that was delivered to my home, because black was sold out throughout Nordstroms and cafe au lait was the only neutral but way too dark for my skin. The pink looked way to pastel for an undergarment for use under possibly sheerer summer colors like white, cream, etc. , and black was sold out. So I went back and got cafe au lait to wear under the black dress I needed it for. Unfortunately, it was not as comfortable outside in warm weather as it was in the dressing room. First night I needed it, I wound up wearing an old pair of Spanx shorts in large that I have had for years. The second night I needed it, I wore it under a cream colored skirt, and it would have been too dark had the skirt not had a lining. The legs began riding up and I regretted removing the sales tags. The cafe au lait was too dark for a nude, and the size was just not right. The legs need to be a little longer and need to stay in place like the traditional Spanx shorts that I couldn't find in April or May without cutouts in the butt. My butt need its Spanx. Maybe I was sold a size too small, but the waist was too big in Medium. This is a good idea, but the colors need to go back to undergarment basics, and legs in a slenderizing short need to be a little longer ( I am only 5"2"), and not ride up.

Not quite as much compression as I was expecting, but it does smooth lines under dresses and the shorts are very comfortable. The cafe au lait color was a darker brown than I was expecting, so if you need this to not show under a white or thin dress, the white might be better. These shorts will provide a peace of mind and anti chafing which was the goal. I’m a size 4/6 in most clothing and the size small fit great.
