SPANXsculpt^™ OnCore High Waist MidThigh Shorts

Messy room, not wearing a Nordy dress here, whatever!! I had to write this as soon as my spanx landed in my mailbox, SO impressed with this shapewear. No visible seams. I can’t believe I’ve never tried spanx before. I love that my body looks the same size, just everything is smoother and held in. Excellent. In this dress before the shapewear you could see the seamless thong panty line, hip dips, tummy, and thigh cellulite. Everything is smooth now and I feel so confident in a dress I would have otherwise been adjusting all night. Love that it doesn’t have a bra bit, I can go braless or wear the right bra for the outfit. Love that I can eat cake at my birthday party without feeling self conscious. It isn’t like it is compressing too much either, I can breathe and sit normally. I found this true to size for me. Very comfy. The top band doesn’t roll in my experience. It is very difficult to get on but once on it isn’t too tight at all. Highly recommend.

If you want smooth lines wearing a body hugging dress or jumpsuit, this is an absolute must! This is a girls best accessory! I have read comments from others who say the top rolls down. I have been fitted at Spanx before and they advised if the top rolls down then the garment is too small. That has become my rule of thumb for all Spanx shapers and it has served me well in always getting the right size. Don't know how we ever lived without these!!!

I purchased this model and the Spanx Higher Power Short Mid-Thigh Shaper ($38). I preferred the "Oncore" version because it has a band at the top that helps keep it up, especially if you can tuck it under your bra, or you can attach it. I like the new material--I have a much older version, too. I don't recommend wearing this one for all day business use. Best for formal attire or special events as it can feel constricting after awhile. But it creates the smooth effect it advertises. I sent back the Spanx Higher Power Short Mid Thigh Shaper as it quickly rolled down at the top, and the fabric, while more comfortable, is easy to create a run in (I had another product in this fabric and put a hole in it the first time I put it on). Don't know if I would wear this in a really hot environment.

This piece is firm and controlling. Others don't smooth or if they do then there is the issue of skin bulging out above and below the garment. This goes on fairly easily (a little wiggling is required) and then clothing slides on perfectly (form fitting dresses, jeans, tees). It is not noticeable under clothing. Very comfortable. Not hot. It got rid of my poochy stomach and I look slender as I did several years ago. I bought the nude and now would like a black one! I got the M which is almost a little large for me (5'7, 140, 38" hip, 30" waist)

The Naked 3.0 color (hope it comes back) is an EXCELLENT match to my skin tone (MAC - NC45 for reference). The hold is incredible too but I will say btw the Large & XL sizes, SURPRISINGLY the Large worked for me & came up my back & stomach just enough, without extra material creasing in my back area like the XL size. Also, the leg area is NOT tight at all in both sizes & my thighs are quite thick. Full disclosure, getting this SPANX on in the size Large was a little more of a struggle than the XL size but soo worth the effort & it’s certainly BETTER to put the shaper on like tights, inch by inch...I got MUCH BETTER at it the 2nd time around. For reference, I am 5’7, 220lbs (yikes QUARANTINE!), size 14, curvy/bottom heavy...you would think the XL is better but I found it to be too long..funny I cold almost put my breast in it..LOL! I wish more details were listed with this specific SPANX to give you a better idea of the fit for your body &/or height, hence why I tried both sizes.
