Firstly, thank god we don’t live in the days where this was common place and required.
Secondly, you need “ladies in waiting” to get this on. You can not do it by yourself.
Thirdly, while it does do the intended job of creating a waist, when you sit down the entire thing is more like a body cast.... you can’t bend over and it looks horrible.
I returned it. I’m guessing it would be best used at a wedding or ball where you are standing more than sitting.

Gives you a great waist but circumvents the usual roll that occurs on your lower stomach if wearing a regular waist cincher/corset. Plus the shorts aspect keeps in your lace and from riding up.
