The Perfect Black Pant Back Seam Skinny Pants

These pants are very well-made and of heavy, substantial fabric. Not at all see-through. However 'Perfect" is not a word I'd use to describe them -- especially if you are petite. I am 5'3" and they were waaaaay too long for me. Also, they run very small: I weigh about 115 & got a medium as I detest tight clothing around my midriff and they were far too tight. I returned them. Also, they felt very uncomfortable when I tried them on: like I'd been duct taped & squished!

I’m very happy with these pants! I’m always on the hunt for more black work pants. The material is definitely more of a legging material, but it’s think enough that I’m comfortable wearing them to work, especially with a longer blouse or blazer. The material feels high quality. The high waist and length were perfect on me (but I’m 5’10 with long legs and a high waist, so I can see why these would not work on someone shorter). I do wish there were actual pockets to make them more functional. I’m usually an 8 and the medium works well.

Was excited to get these as I typically don’t spend this much on pants but had to get new comfortable staple work pants. These are not work pants, these are leggings. In addition, I’m 5’6 150 lbs and a size 6. The medium “fit” but there was a gap in the crotch where the pants didn’t go up all the way. Super disappointed. No they absolutely don’t look like work pants and they made me look wider than I am. I’m in healthcare leadership and these “pants” are not at that level. Returning.

A nice, deep black pair of pants that are like really thick leggings. I bought these online and picked up in store last week, tried them on for the first time this morning, liked the fit and wore them to work. The extra wide elastic waistband is somewhat noticeable during the day, but not uncomfortable. The fit above the knee was pretty good (I am a size 2 and bought the S/P), but the ankle area was a little sloppy and every time I got up after sitting down I had to pull the legs down as fabric was bunched at the knee. I thought I felt the start of some pilling on the thighs, so I will keep an eye on that issue.

I love these pants. I really wasn't sure what to expect. I will say on a sliding scale from legging to true pant these are definitely more on the legging end of the spectrum. They are tight behind my knees and while lose at the ankle, still very slim fit (also to note, I am not bottom heavy and my legs are pretty slim comparatively to the rest of my body - for someone with thicker calves, I think these would likely be tight through to the ankle for you.) That said - with an oversized sweater or tunic top, I think these are a great work look. I work in an elevated business casual office and so long as I dress these right - I think they are very appropriate. Great option for stretchy work pants but I think it's tough to say how it will fit you depending on your shape.
