This is a smoothing underwear not a shaping. So if you want everything to be smooth this is perfect! Smoothed out all the ripples and looked perfect under my satin silk shorts/pants I wanted to wear them with! I got an XL and it fit comfortable and not tight. If you're looking for a something to smooth out your stomach this is perfect for under anything silk!

Not your typical Spanx
I have never had anything from Spanx that I didn't like, but these have very little tummy control and are flimsy. If they weren't undies I would return and they seem to run small.
