So I have been eyeing these since last year. When I saw the petite size in the anniversary sale, I pulled the plug! I like them, but they’re the most I’ve ever spent on “leggings” even with the sale price. Yes, I know they’re not regular leggings and have that faux leather look. But to me, still expensive. That being said, I’m glad I bought them. I listened to the other reviews and sized up to a petite small. For reference, I’m about 5’2” tall and weigh 103-105 lbs. I’m typically an XS in tops and dresses and size 00P-0P or 25 in jeans. I do like to size up a lot to a small in most leggings though because I don’t like it really tight. I knocked off one star because for a petite length, I felt like the inseam should have been shorter. I think these are a 26” inseam or possibly a little longer. Most 7/8 leggings or petites are a 25” inseam, which is the perfect length for my 5’2” height. They still work, but I have to make sure to hike it all the way up. Also, I don’t find them to be super compressive or make me feel extra skinny. But maybe that’s just me. They don’t have that cheap look like a lot of other faux leather leggings do. Overall, very happy with this purchase and recommend. And FYI, if you’re going to post a review, please state your measurements and typical sizes or else it’s not really helpful to others. Hope this helps someone decide.

I bought these as well a pair of leather leggings from Another brand, and there’s definitely a huge difference. I would compare the Spanx leggings to a coated jean - they’re leggings with a shiny coating made to look like leather. Whereas the other brand I bought has the true look and feel of leather! It’s much nicer and more expensive looking. However, the Spanx fit well and are comfortable so I’m keeping them as an alternative look option. I’d size up. I bought both a SP AND MP and kept the M (5’3” 125lb, 26 waist, always a small and usually a 2.) The small fit but the medium was more comfortable and more flattering I felt. Pics 1&4 are ‘other brand’, pics 2&3 are Spanx.

I LOVE these leggings, they are thick and well constructed and make everything look amazing, esp my butt. I was so excited when a petite version came out, but the petite is too long by 2ish inches :( please make a shorter version! I'm 5'3 125lbs and got the M petite, fits perfectly except the bunching at the ankles, not a true petite size

I love them for the look but I wish they were actually a shaping/compression legging like another brand I own. These are just regular leggings (I thought spanx were a shaping brand) but I love that they are petite sized and love the look of them, I’m 5’3” and finding leggings for my height is hard.. these are about 2” too long but way better than the average length of leggings on me, I am normally a size medium but I ordered a size large because of the reviews saying to size up and the large fits perfectly but the waist band rolls down so I’m not sure if the medium would have fit better and prevented that or not.

I’m a generous XL, but these beauties wouldn’t make it past quality control at the jimmy dean factory. They barely made it over my thighs, at which point I had to give up because it wasn’t going to happen with the booty. These faux leggings made me faux happy.

I’m 5’1” 125lbs and ordered a M. Fit was fine, too long but easily could have fixed that. The pants were not flattering, bunched up weird around my knees and on my thighs. Overall unhappy with the look, returned them.
