These are the best underwear I’ve ever had- and I’ve tried many. They hold you in well, but not like a straight jacket. They feel luxurious. They *didn’t* roll down one me! And I’m no small person... (1-2x). The leg is my favorite part, though: no pinching! Sooooo comfortable and stay in place! Another great thing: the band does start low enough to take care of the entire lower abdomen issue! I love these and highly recommend you try! If you are looking for underwear that will completely flatten your stomach and be comfortable: good luck. If you are looking for something that will hold that lower tummy in nicely, smoothing and minimizing without giving up comfort: these are it! On sizing... it’s so personal... if you prefer more comfort do your size or one up, if you want more hold, start w your size and consider one down (I’ve got one in my usual Spanx shapewear size that works fine, but will try one size smaller to see, and I suspect I’ll prefer it!)

If I could give them zero stars, I would. The waistband is extremely tight and continuously rolls dow as you move and bend. I don’t mean it folds over, I mean it literally keeps rolling down until it reaches the top of your thighs. I repeatedly tried to add a couple photographs to show how bad it is (because seeing how bad it is would have been better) but the Nordstrom site kept giving me an error message and wouldn’t let me add my pictures. Trust me, don’t waste your valuable time and money on this horrible support wear.
