These are NOT a athletic legging. I figured that was the case based off the photo, but I like them for under casual dresses.

See-through but true to actual size
I was so excited to love these. When I received them, I noticed they were reallllly thin (as I guess spanx should be) but they are so thin they are see through in the tummy area! I didn't plan to wear a second pair of leggings on top of it. Also, the sizing noted in the product details didn't seem accurate to me. A 2X is a true 2X, not a 1X. I had high hopes to use as my workout leggings, but I will have to pass.
