Curl Shaping Mousse

I have curly hair and dye it purple, i can only shampoo it once a week to keep the color in. I was skeptical since this product has silicones, which I avoid due to buildup, but from my research, they are water-soluble and they will wash out. This mouse is very foamy and comes out like shaving cream Instead of the watery bubbles I am used to with a mouse. It diffuses beautifully with some added heat protectant and it makes my curls shiny and defined. I love that the scent matches their cleanser so I don’t have different scents competing in my routine! I will definitely be adding this to my routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The texture was light and airy, and it worked easily into my hair. After air drying, curls/waves were soft and had no crunch. It helped define the curl pattern, but I will say I didn’t feel it had lasting hold. After a day, there was little definition left for my hair personally. I didn’t feel there was a volume boost after use, but that could be entirely my hair texture and porosity. I felt actually my hair was flatter than it normally was around the roots. Overall it did help combat frizz. It was a good mousse, but it didn’t blow my mind or leave me wowed. For me, the cost is a deterrent in the fact in order to have the curl definition I desire, I’d have to use it daily as it didn’t hold the shape I like for more than a day. I prefer something that allows me to go days between washes and doesn’t look like my hair has no style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw this packaging, it was definitely giving luxury. It's so eye-catching catchy. High-quality packaging I give that a 10. Now the product the way it dispenses is nice and fluffy and creamy. Now the product is was a little disappointed in the quality of the product. Its shaping mousse definitely gave me more weight down. But if you want to use it for that wet look that a lot do in the summer, this is the product. So I'm definitely going to use this for my beach video. looks cause the wet look is what it gave me. Overall, it's a good product, but I would purchase it myself. I'll save my coin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mousse has the same scent as the cleansing crème, a very fresh citrusy yet airy perfume scent. It’s not overpowering but it can be especially if you have a lot of product in your hair. Otherwise, it smells nice and luxurious. The mousse itself is very light and somewhat foam-like. The mousse itself comes out easily from the bottle after shaken. And the bottle itself is made of aluminum. Once the mousse was applied to my hair, it held my curls but my curls were still flexible, bouncy and not stiff-feeling. I love that there was no crunchy feeling and that this product tamed my frizz. You also don’t need too much product to coat your hair evenly. My curls held shape and didn’t feel dry whatsoever. However, there can be a slight residue in your hair that is slightly sticky if you touch your hair but that is primarily dependent on how much product you put and drying time. Once the mousse dries up in your hair, there’s no residue, just tamed bouncy curls. Overall, I enjoy this product and will continue to use in my hair care routine. It does the job by holding my curls, taming frizz and makes my hair smell nice.

I put about a golf size amount in my palm and distribute it through my hair. Then I blow dry my hair. I do think it makes my hair dry faster. And my hair stays smooth and frizz-free.
