Love!
Got these for my daughter, went a size up so she can grow into them. She loves the boots and is able to walk around in them comfortably even though she has room to grow into them. They are adorable and very versatile. Thinking she can wear these not only in the snow but even rainy, muddy or cold days.

So ridiculously small.
Last year my daughter was wearing a size 13 in Sorel boots. I ordered these in the size 2 since the reviews said they were small (her rain boots from Hunter are a 1 and a bit too big) She couldn’t even get her feet in the size 2. Ok, these things happen, we’ll order the size 3. She could get her feet in but only without socks and a lot of struggle, physical and emotional. She dislikes discomfort and I dislike being kicked in the face. Accidentally, but still.
Fine, we’ll try the 4, that’s got to work right? That’s like 3 sizes larger then all her other shoes. Well, she can get her feet in, but it takes me shoving them on her feet while yelling “POINT YOUR TOES!”, and even then the socks have to be thin. So seriously Sorel, what gives?
Don’t get me wrong, these are super cute and unchunky (it’s a word), but you can’t sacrifice reasonable sizing and the ability to fit with aesthetic. I mean you can when you’re an adult, but 8? Not worth the morning arguments and eventual abandonment to the back of the closet. Hopefully their other styles are more about function and adorableness.

not waterproof
Bought these for my kids and they went to play in a snow. Shoes were soaking wet after. Not waterproof as labeled. I’m very disappointed in these Sorel’s.

runs small
I was so excited to get these for my son hes 8, but was so sad when they we’re almost impossible to get them on I recommend sizing up a size or 2. My son only wore them once and we never grabbed them again because they were always so hard to get on. Was very sad.

Sizing seems normal
So I read all the reviews before ordering for my son who was just measured at a size 2 in store and has wide feet. I ordered a 3 and 4 to be safe. The 3 was too big, but he loves them so much we’ll try to make it work with thick socks. Unfortunately, the size 2 had sold out by the time we received them. No problem at all with the width which was surprising given all the other reviews.

Perfect for older kids
I ordered one of each color: the black in a size 6 for my 11yo son and the fuchsia in a size 7 for my 14yo daughter. Both fit great, no sizing issues. In fact, for my daughter we were thrilled they offered up to a size 7 since she wears an 8.5-9 in women's sizing and the kids size 7 fit with room for thick socks. Really happy these worked out for my older kids so I don't have to pay for adult sizes this winter.
