Out N About III Waterproof Boot

Boots are astetichly very pleasing online and when You first see them, but look really bad on me. Toe box is tight and the back too loose so it feels small, but slides around. And the top of the boot sits right at the ankle bone and is very wide which feels like an awkward fit. Sad they don't feel right because they are cute, high top sneaker- looking waterproof boots. Returning. (Ordered my normal 7.5 maybe size up a half for a better fit)

I am on the fence about these boots. I have searched long and hard for a bootie that is waterproof for everyday wear, not serious trekking thru the snow, which this boot is not. I read about every review I could find. I am typically size 8.5 or 39, occasionally a 9 in a running sneaker. My foot is average to narrow width, but I have less volume in the north-south or top to bottom measurement, if that makes sense. So many reviews said it runs small. I disagree. I believe this is due to 2 things: if your foot is even slightly wide, yes, it would run narrow. Two, the shape of the entire shoe, how it turns up at the toe area, sort of a rocker style, is a feel that some may find feels strange, which is the camp I am in. The toe box is shallow. Length-wise, this boot is true to size. It’s the aforementioned factors that are causing people issues. The quality seems good, although I have obviously have not tested it in wet weather. As others have mentioned as well, there is something funky with the tongue where it pokes out and doesn’t stay contained within the sides of the shoe. If I had not read so many reviews that mentioned this, I woulda figured I got a defective pair. The boot is very cute. I just don’t like the rocker feel of the shape of the sole. I will probably return them. Hope my detailed description of fit helps others.

I own several pair of Sorel boots; I was very disappointed in these because they’re sized strangely (tight and short in the toe box and wide in the heel) and because they’re very stiff and not cushioned at all. I’m not sure what Sorel was thinking with these… definitely a downgrade from the previous version of their Out n About boots.

After reading all the reviews I finally decided to get a pain on sale. They were very cute, but a full size too small with very thin socks. Also the shoes don't provide any arch support although quite cushioned soles. I returned for a 7.5 when I usually wear a 6.5.

It’s not comfortable on the inside

These boots are amazing! They are super comfortable and easy to slip on/off and not have to tie them. I ordered a 1/2 size up from my normal size in Sorels and they are perfect.
