Kinetic™ Aura Ankle Strap Platform Sandal

I’ve been buying Sorel sandals for years. Always get lots of compliments. Always order a size 6, and they fit me perfectly. However, these are not the same! They feel lightweight and cheap, they are too large, and my foot is sliding forward. Not sure what happened with Sorel, but these are going back.

I needed a comfortable platform sandal that felt secure to walk all day in. I was skeptical that the leather upper would chafe or create blisters, but it is soft and comfortable. The adjustable strap is excellent, and the whole shoe weighs next to nothing for the visual impact you get. Full disclosure, I’ve yet to walk a full day in them. But I walked around a bit and kept them on while lounging as well, and so far so good.

I loved the look of these online-I got the tan ones but when you get them they just don't pair well with many things. I tried with a printed dress and skirt and the ridges were just too distracting. They looked great with wide leg jeans but wanted something more versatile. On top of this, they were not nearly as comfortable as the Sorel Sunpeak Wedge sandal which I got in beige and black and absolutely love.

These sandals are well made, very comfortable, and are so beautiful!! love these, definite keepers.

These sandals are unique and quite comfortable. I sized down by half a size and they fit perfectly. They almost feel as comfortable as sneakers when walking in them. Love these sandals!

Wanted to love them- but they’re too big. Go down 1/2 size.
