No socks required!
I am a solid 10 (narrow) but Sorel’s look like they run on the wide or larger side so I decided to get a 9.5 and I was right…a 9.5 fit perfectly. No sock need almost like wearing and UGG but not as furry.

Shocked at the poor quality
So I should have looked at the pictures better because when I received I was shocked to see the poor quality of this shoe. I have 5 other Sorel boots and none of them are this poorly made. The look cute from the side, but very uncomfortable. The shearling is only the tongue, and so the inside is just leather, no lining. And pink shoe laces. The insert just fell out on its own when I tried to take it off. It’s is about 2 mm of low quality foam, which is why it was so incredibly uncomfortable to wear even with thick gym socks. I could feel something hard under my foot and I realized that the hard plastic under the insole was jabbing into my foot. I’m just really upset about the whole experience and hope that Nordstrom takes my return. Don’t think I’ll buy any more Sorel’s if their quality has dropped to such low levels. I don’t recommend these shoes, even for the discounted price.

Love them!
I love all Sorel boots. I used to buy UGGS for winter and now all my shoes and boots are Sorel for all seasons. They are the most comfortable and totally my style. I wish I could buy them all. Always true to size and the most comfortable.

Loved the old version - need to bring back the shearling or microfleece lining for the inside
I had the old version of these (I'm obsessed so they are starting to look worn) and went to rebuy them. Unfortunately, I realized this boot is a new shape and the insides are no longer fully insulated. The old ones were SO cozy, warm, and comfortable. These are OK, but bring back the shearling or microfleece insulation on the inside. Then they will be perfection again
