Explorer Next II Waterproof Boot (Men)

Weirdly narrow for cold weather boots. Why not give a bit of space in the toe box?? Cramped feet are cold feet. I even ordered a full size up and they’re not only too narrow still, they’re too long as well - only the strangest foot shape would work for these boots. Too bad, because the style seems like it would be great if only they were made wider.

These boots are warm and comfortable. They are very water resistant, but not as warm as expected. For example, on longer walks with my dog, say an hour or so, you will begin to feel the cold on your feet. I would wear them with thicker socks, however, I followed reviews and went with my original size. This proved to be a failure because I find that these boots are very tight and not True To Size. The boots also never broke-in, so I only wear them to take my dog out quickly, and not for long walks. Exercise caution when purchasing, and get two sizes and return the one (what I should have done). Other than the sizing issue, they are worth getting.

I really like these, they have been very comfortable and very warm on some cold wet days lately, I also don’t mind wearing them with business casual outfits or a night out on the town. They look good are very comfortable and very practical. I do find that they run a little bit bigger than my other Sorel boots, but this is welcome as it will allow me to wear a thick pair of socks, on really cool days and in the snow. Overall, the laces tighten up snug and fit well.
