What it is: A gentle rescue serum that replenishes vital hydration to strengthen skin's moisture barrier.
What it does: Alongside groundcherry extract and Erno Laszlo's SensCalm® Complex, the Barridome Technology® has a second-skin effect, keeping the complexion hydrated in the face of environmental stressors. Signs of dryness or sensitivity are visibly diminished, revealing soothed, calm and healthy-looking skin.
How to use: After cleansing and toning, smooth over face, avoiding the eyes. Follow with moisturizer. Use morning and night.

Must Have!!! Fabulously moisturizing Serum!
The best-ever EL Serum (& I used the 3-10). Instantly absorbs by skin, although skin doesn’t “feel thirsty”. In my humid climate, (& bcz allergic to Mattifying Cream), this is AM moisturizer on face beneath VTM SPF30.
By night, the ideal serum applied as needed: after cleanse, tone, 3-10 Essence, etc. Immediately before sleep, reapply SRHSerum - especially on neck where applying all creams can be painful due to scars & “metal hardware beneath).
This is PERFECTION for my “normal” skin. Bottles in dressing area AND bedside table! Yes, Soothing Relief Hydration Serum is worth every penny for the 1 fl oz bottle.
I’m focused on brightening, even skin texture, anti-aging & this product assists ALL & other benefits I don’t notice but others do!

There is a lot of black powder on the serum packaging, and there is also a lot of black powder on the bottle after opening it. I don't understand if this is a production problem of the manufacturer. The pressing design makes it difficult to extract the liquid of the serum. Among skin care products at this price, this product gives people a very low quality feeling. From my current use, it does not have any special hydrating effect on the skin, and I would not recommend this product.

Extra Hydration for the Winter
I added the Soothing Relief Serum, along with the Soothing Relief Hydration Lotion, to my daily skincare routine when my skin started feeling tight and extra dry due to a recent cold snap. I knew they would work - EL products have always come through for me - but I was surprised how quickly I felt a difference. I would recommend them for anyone who needs a boost of hydration. I love the fact that they have no scent, which is good for my fragrance sensitive skin.
