Cassidy Faux Leather Duffle Bag

I will now and forever take out a measuring tape and make sure I totally understand the dimensions of a bag lol. this was so cute and a great shape and was just what I want...except it was half the size I was expecting. this is the size of a large purse, not a duffel bag. Good for going overnight to your boyfriend's maybe, but it can't hold much more than that. I returned it to get a better size for what I needed.

I have to say a HUGE thank you to the reviewer who made the comment about this bag been the perfect size for Spirit Airlines! That's why I made the purchase, and she was right. Besides that, the bag looks waaay more expensive than it is. However, the opening can be annoying because it's not as big as it should be, so packing can be tricky when you're trying to stuff as much as you can inside it. Still, I heart this purchase! ps: If you're looking for a bag that looks like it's $500, this is not it, and neither should it look that way because a chic $60 duffel bag is a steal. Again, this is a $60+ bag, and while it looks nice/posh/chic/more expensive than it is/etc., it's not a Louis Vuitton bag either #justsaying

The bag itself is very nice. The cognac color is pretty and the size is big enough to pack clothes in for an overnight trip. However, like previous reviews mentioned, there is a really bad odor inside of it. It reminds me of the smell of the purses I used to buy purses on the street in NYC when I was a teenager. I am still waiting for it to go away and don't want to put clothes in it yet.

I bought this duffle for my upcoming trip to NYC as my "purse." I needed something larger than my normal purse to carry all my essential items that I don't want to store in the overhead compartment. I haven't taken my trip yet, but I've used the bag for an overnight. I would definitely agree with other reviewers that this bag shouldn't be classified as a weekender, but more of an overnight bag. Surely, you should take a good look at the dimensions. The color of the bag is absolutely gorgeous and matched the picture very well. This is my first Vegan bag and it definitely has an odor, I wouldn't say a bad one, but an odor nonetheless. The inside is a polka dot pattern as one of the other reviewers pictured (so it does not match the description pictures). The handles seem very sturdy and I like that it includes a cross-body strap for convenience. I'm 5'3" with an average build and this bag is the perfect size to carry. Overall, I would highly recommend! I wish there was a black version for sale as well, but this bag matches my Delsey Chatalet perfectly :)
