Fragrance story: Solairs opens with a top note of blackcurrant, followed by a creamy floral bouquet of ylang-ylang. The background is enveloped by the warm, woody vibrations of sandalwood and the sensuality of vanilla. Reminiscent of sun on skin, or skin on skin.

perfect scent!
I just received this fragrance in the mail today and had to write a review. I am so impressed with the uniqueness of this scent, which is perfect for spring/summer. I was looking for a lighter, fresher fragrance for the warmer months -and Solaris exceeded my expectations. Very soft and uplifting. No sharp or overbearing notes at all. The packaging is gorgeous, it’s reminiscent of those apothecary bottles from the past. This is my first purchase of Penhaligon perfumes but will not be my last. Solaris is already a favorite-after only one day!

Confused!
I bought this perfume few days ago. I think I may have received an old bottle of this perfume. Everyone mentions how strong it is, but no matter how many times I spray it, even over unscented lotion on my body, I can barely smell anything., Whatever little scent I do get, fades within 30 minutes. I'm really confused. Sadly, I'll have to return it.

perfect scent!

Summertime in a bottle
This scent evokes summers at the beach or lake. It’s beautiful without being flowery. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. Wish they had more products with this scent.

Bold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely enjoy how little I have to wear lol. It’s very bold so you don’t need much. I like the scent though. It’s my car perfume lol. That’s a runner up to purse perfume so it’s impressive lol. I usually go with light fragrance but this is wearing on me.

Strong scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great scent hues to this perfume, downfall for myself was the strength of the scent. It didn’t “woff” away a little as the day went on. I would for sure wear it for a large event where I feel I need a stronger scent for. The woodsy hues are nice and very fall type scents.

The parfume

The color is nice too. It’s something I would like to buy in the future. It comes out easily too. I’m glad it’s not sticky.
