soft forgiving leather
I ordered the wides and am content with their fit, only having worn them around the house. The leather is very soft and forgiving and the insoles seem supportive. It has been hard to find plain black oxford style shoes that can be worn with my uniform and that don't hurt my feet. After trying off/on for years to find some oxfords, these just may be my saving grace from having to wear heels with the uniform anymore (and yes, the heels were more comfortable than all the other oxfords I've tried)!

beautiful shoe-sizing off
I purchased this pair and did note that some reviews said they thought the sizing was way off. I agree with them. I purchased a size 8.5 wide and it was more like a narrow B width. It's a lovely shoe and beautifully made but they are going back. Maybe there is some way to create a uniform measure for width as has been done with shoe length. It's a shame.

I have been looking for a shoe like this
I read the reviews about the sizing being off but I ordered my regular size 8.5 and fits perfectly. I got medium width and initially I thought it felt tight but I just undid the laces all the way and tied them like I would sneakers. The leather is soft and the sole of the shoe is just so comfy. I have just been walking around the house but I already know these are going to be a favorite.
