My feet are in heaven
I've tried dozens of shoes over the years that will work for my foot condition, which is fairly chronic bunions, especially on one side.
Previous to this boot I'm pretty much limited to Merrell Tetra Launch Boots, Vionic Orhtaheel Flip Flops, and Dansko clogs. That is it. But I don't give up easily and I continue to order/try/return many shoes every year hoping to find something fashionable that I can walk in.
I'm so happy to find these booties in the exact sand/nude color I wanted. They are like slipping into foot heaven with zero pressure on my bunions and a soft footbed that I can lay my orthotic over. They don't scream "comfort shoes" and are a major boost to the wardrobe. Thank you SoftWalk.
Usually I wear size 10 to gain space in the toe bed and allow room for orthotics, but the 9.5 wide was a perfect fit for these.

Not what you think
By the description these looked like really comfortable boots. I'm pregnant right now so I ordered a 7W to accommodate my wider feet. When these arrived they looked and felt more like a 7N. Very narrow shoe. I'm really disappointed. Don't order these if you're looking for comfort. They are very stiff and narrow. Had to return them.

The faux wood heels are a strip of contact type paper that is already peeling off after three wears to reveal the unsightly raw heel of the boot. Not a quality product for $160

narrow fit
Love the fact that I can buy a narrow boot however it would be nice to have a less tapered toe box it is a tad too narrow!
I normally where a 81/2N but with this boot my second toe is hitting the tapered toe box, "longer second toe". I tried the 9N but slip out of the heal.
Guess I will keep the 81/2N and where a thinner sock with the boot!
Think the boot runs a tad short in length!

Super Comfy
Really comfy bootie - no break-in period required. Nice arch support, cushy sole. Only con is that the red lining rubs off on your sock / foot. Hopefully that will go away.

new go-to short black boots
These are versatile: I've worn them with skirts and cropped narrow pants. While they aren't the most comfortable shoes I own, that has more to do with my feet than the shoes themselves: certainly I can walk a mile in them, if not every day. The fit is good, too: my foot is very wide and the wide seemed plenty wide enough. I am between a 6 and a 6.5 and went with the larger--the right decision.
BTW: The black doesn't have any of the white scuffing/highlighting you can see on some of the other colors.
