Somers III Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

I love these shoes and found them cute and comfortable however, they do not wear well. I had them for about 3 weeks and the front/top of the shoe had been out and about (outside, in rain occasionally - I live in the rainy PNW). I didn't spray or treat these shoes (for some reason, I never thought about it!). After a few days of errands on rainy days (just regular rain - not puddles and downpours!) the textured part on the front of the shoe lost its texture and looked stiff/terrible. Since these shoes are more delicate there should maybe be a note in the box from the manufacturer that they need to be worn with care or treated with water resistant spray/etc. I have quite a few different slip-on sneakers from different brands that I've worn in the rain that have held up fine. I ended up taking these back to the Nordstrom where I purchased where the salesperson told me they're not supposed to be worn in rain. I found these ran just a smidge big - I purchased an 8.5 when I am usually a 9.

Love the look and the comfortable fit. They are easy to put on and fit as they should. They really are nice looking and the detail on the leather is beautiful. They do show any stain, or even a drop of water on them shows up as a dark brown spot. So far the two spots on them disappeared when they dried, but these are not shoes to wear outdoors much and definitely not in wet weather.

This shoe runs true to size. Wish it had a better arch support, but it’s not bad. I got them for an overseas trip where I wanted a shoe that was easy to slip off for TSA airport inspections, but still nice looking. These fit the bill. They are also comfortable for walking on the cobblestone streets of Europe with the thick soles. I purchased the light blue color that go nicely with my travel wardrobe. I’m very pleased with these shoes.
