Floral Print Smocked Tiered Maxi Dress

My 45 year old son is marrying this summer. I am under 5' and have a 43" bust and am 75. I love colors and am not usually enamored with tailored clothing and dresses with jackets. I fell in love with this dress online and knowing that the wedding has a boho theme thought it might work. All I have to do is find a way to hide my upper arms and my bra straps and find a way to easily hem it. Well, the hemming is a freebie since I can remove the bottom tier and it will be the perfect length. I was able to take a coral lacy sweater and make it into a cropped top which takes care of the other alterations needed. The dress is soft as if woven from dandelion fluff and easy to slip over my head. The scattered flowers are a variety of shades of colors and sizes. Also, the gathered bodice flatters and is very comfortable. I am so glad I took a chance on ordering this beauty!

I love this dress. It’s beautiful in person! Wore for a summer wedding and received many complements. The shoulder straps tie, making them adjustable. The dress is lined and not see though. It was the perfect length when wearing heals. The only issue with the dress is that the bottom does not have a slit making it a little tight when walking. Not a big problem for me but might be an issue for others. I had to pull the dress up when walking up stairs. For reference I’m 5’2 120lbs.
