comically small
I am a true size small. I’m 5’3” and 120 pounds. I ordered a size small at first, and when I took the pants out of the package, they looked kids’ sized. The small was snug and caused the muffin top bulge. I reordered in medium, and they were much more comfortable. The Nordstrom website describes these pants as being made with polyester—this is inaccurate. These are made with 94% Merino wool. Good quality, and I’m pleased with natural fibers. These aren’t itchy at all. I would recommend these if you need new base layers!

Absolutely marvellous
I suffer from the cold so this review is not about using these merino wool leggings as a base layer for skiing!!! it's about telling you that I wear these every day - and since I've been wearing them I've not had chilblains. They are excellent value and I'm so happy that they exist! I'm sure that if you bought them for skiing they'd keep you warm too!
